REAR WHEEL DRIVE DIFFS
Rear Wheel Driveline and Diff Assemblies are often
damaged. We completely dismantle, measure and dial guage all
parts to determine accident damage. All damaged parts are
repaired and rechecked or replaced if required and the reassembled unit
returned ready to refit.

4WD DIFF ASSEMBLY
Whilst 4 Wheel Drive Lines are more robust than
normal passenger vehicles, they still sustain damage if involved in an
accident. In an accident or heavy impact situation, damage
commonly involves diff housings, swivel hubs, drive shafts and steering
components. We can collect the full assembly for repairs or take
the vehicle in for removal if required. The diff assembly and
steering components are stripped down and individually checked for
impact damage. All damaged parts are repaired or replaced and
returned, or refitted to the vehicle. During the process all
bearings are also cleaned, regreased and reshimmed. Any wear and
tear items needing attention, but not part of the impact damage, are
reported to the owner to have done if they choose to do so, while the
assembly is stripped down.

FRONT WHEEL DRIVE - REAR SUSPENSIONS
This type of suspension is often very light weight
due to low load bearing and construction styles. Often with
irregular shaped arms, knuckles and pivot points, it is hard to
identify damage. Send the whole 'corner' to us for complete
dismantling, examination and repairs as required. Many rear
suspensions have little or no adjustment so it is most important each
component is undamaged.

INDEPENDANT REAR SUSPENSION DRIVELINES
(Rear Wheel Drive Independant Suspension Unit)
While rear wheel drive 'IRS' type suspensions come in several different
and often complex styles, they all usually sustain damage from rear or
side impact accidents such as sliding into gutters. Track Right
can collect either the IRS assembly or the complete vehicle for
repairs. We strip down, measure, jig, repair or replace all
damaged components including differentials and drive shafts.

COMPLETE ENGINE - SUSPENSION UNIT
It is often easier for the repairer to remove the
complete engine-suspension assembly as a unit (rear or front wheel
drive), especially if the car needs structural repairs such as rails
and skirts. This allows us to look at the complete unit and
assess any and all damage from the accident. It can often avoid
delays at the end of the repairers process if they find any unforseen
damage on the other side from the impact. (A common problem that
is hard to pick up in the repairers' shop.) We check all the
suspension and steering gear along with all possible engine and trans
components. The repairer can then expect to have returned to
him, a complete unit fit to go out again.

QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEMS
Even with small jobs such as one 'corner' of the
cars suspension, we insist on the inhouse adherence of our 'systems'.
The mechanic's damage report is checked by a Supervisor and the
repairs and reassembly are again checked prior to the job leaving our
shop. Quotes to Insurance Companies are also checked to reduce
the need to send second (supplementary) invoices for items unquoted.
We understand the importance of smooth administration procedures
and work to be customer focused. Minimising paperwork helps us
all run better business's.
